Hide-A-Board - Overview
We are pleased to introduce the new and improved Hide-A-Board Ironing Center. The new manufacturer is located in North Carolina and has made numerous design and assembly improvements to the original ironing center. You’ll be impressed with the “Furniture Grade” quality of our new units.
The Hide-A-Board combines quality craftsmanship with absolute convenience. The 41” maple plywood ironing board lowers smoothly for quick access. Plenty of built-in storage provides space for starch, supplies and the iron when not in use. An included heat shield allows the iron to safely cool after use.
The inside of the case is completely finished with white melamine panels and the door can be hung either left or right. All joints are dadoed, glued and nailed, insuring strength, stability and durability.
The standard raised panel maple door is ideal for either staining or painting.
The rough opening is 14-1/4” x 48” to fit in a standard 2x4 wall with studs 16” on center. The rough opening should start 29” off the floor for a 36” ironing board height. The optional electrical package has a timed 120-volt outlet and can be installed by any electrician at any time.
